I had a couple of hours on the car again today, fitted my carbon door cards, and bolted up the seats, and harnesses.

The inside just needs a good hover, and get rid of the musky/moldy smell from it being sat for so long.

Along with the steering parts, I also went a bit mental with fixings, these turned up from tasty nuts today.

Every one seems to have the stainless bolts, so I thought I'd make mine a bit different.

Not sure what colour to do my cam and belt cover, I may go back to silver.

Then I drove into work to use the pillar drill, on my steering knuckles, I used a 1/2'' drill bit to get rid of the tapered hole, for the track rod end

When I got home, I started to remove the rear beam, never done it before, and was impressed with how well it went. I didn't get may pictures when removing it, but once off I knocked the bushes out.

I then set about fitting the Poly bushes, braided hoses it was bit of a git getting the fittings started, because the female end on the hose, are a touch too short Then I fitted the rear coilovers, and Whiteline RARB

I think about 90% of the stuff in the build is second hand. The tyres, track and ball joints, the sensors, and gaskets are pretty much the only things I bought new.

I hate paying full price for stuff

I wanted to clean the inner arches today, but may not bother, see how I feel after I've been to the tip.

I didn't do much today because of the rain. I took a few pictures of the back end, after I let it settle over night, may go a touch lower. You cap also see the blanking gromit for the rear wiper hole.

It's a bit sad but I like the little rusty tailpipe.

After spending almost an hour looking for a brake pipe, I did a tip run, the shed still needs a good tidy:

I did a little bit today, started by stripping the paint off the cam cover. I don't think I'll go colour coded again.

I primed it at work, I may go back to silver, I didn't bother put the washers with the new bolts but I like them.

I then sorted the shed out, I'm getting rid of all of this.

I now have some more floor space.

I've got the SBD TP208 kit, they reckon 208 BHP if it's less than 200 I'll be pissed off. with the cams I've got, and it was overbored last year so fingers crossed it should be more.
