look xedos, we are here to help this guy, i am learnign lots from this as well, i beleive this will become a very popular post,
I think that starting with a 1.4 or 1.6 sport would be a better option as you have a nicer interior trim level and the anti roll bars

To be honest James I never aksed silly questions like that. Your just making that up to make me look bad. At the end of the day it was simply down to your short temper that caused all the confilct between me and your-self.

Thanks alot for the advice. So it looks like I'm after a Corsa SRi then. Cheers.

Putting the turbo lump in the corsa is not that bad a job, it's no different than putting the Xe in you've just got to allow for the intercooler and radiator arrangement, admittingly there are a few more small things to do but if you can put the Xe in then you can handle it. The F20 will stick the power but it would be advisable to put a six speed in if you are going for big power,I've seen the remains of an F20 after having just over 300 brake put through it, it will fit just but I ended up fabricating a pair of bottom tie bars to allow for the clearance as the gearbox is longer. I didn't seam weld the chassis as it is alot stronger than the nova, still use the early tapered driveshafts and don't seem to have any trouble with handling 275 brake but using the bigger shafts sound a better idea.

yeah bigger driveshafts would be a wise move if you plan to hike the power up. All that torque going through them puts much strain on them.

Thats what you said about my Punto, and then thats what you said about me buying a chip, and then thats what you said about me buying a hybrid...
If I go through the bother to look into things in such detail then I'm pretty serious about them. I don't do this for fun you know.

with big power.. you gonna have to replace the cv joints on a regular basis.. depending on how hard you drive..

But its all worth it though even if the joints are replaced once a month
