Right people my dads been doing his bit with the corsa and he's done quality.

Heres the car all stripped back/pulled ready for new sill section

And then i come back from a 3day working away week to this

The sills all welded up, seam sealed and filler applyed. Just needs sanding preping and painting next, hopefully collecting all my panels this weekend ready to bolt up.

More progress soon, cheers all

New progress today.

After a 640mile round trip to ayr i got my carbon bonnet home, really happy with it. Thanks RCoughtrie

Got that fitted to the car and all lined up nicely

Rather than drill hole for the washer jets in the bonnet i relocated them to the tigra scuttle

My stumpy rear plate is now on too

Cheers, thats all for now.

Cheers all.

Right more progress now, i protected all the scabby areas underneath with KURUST (quality stuff) then fully waxoiled under teh car and rear arches

Next up and it killed me to do this but i fitted bonnet pins to my carbon bonnet. I did buy aerocatch's but the corsa bonnet is not flat enough for them

Thats all for now, more bits on the way

Good work there Niel, ive not got round to sending paperwork off yet btw. lol

I hope your bonnet will be secure without those extra straps at the front.
I think the bonnet pins were fitted too close to the edge on the fibreglass one and wind lifted the front up where the normal catch would keep it down, i had the fit those extra straps to stop it lifting and flapping up/down.

I WILL post things soon, keep forgetting.
