I've just read through all the pages. You still haven't said what power it's now got. You did say that you were going to take it back to find out, but doesn't look like you did.

It's running a power steering rack linked up to a mk3 Astra electric motor mate, it's on a switch but I never use it on track, always switched off.

I think you might benefit from running a quick rack so you don't have to take your hands off the steering wheel as much

Cheapest option is go to the scrappy and find a Corsa B with EPS and use the rack off that, 2.7 turn to turn for £20 (thats how much I got mine for)

Heres the video from sunday in the pouring rain but i was still setting some good times qualified 3rd with 1 of them until the gearbox goes at 12:45

I did exactly the same (got mine for £15) but it was the best value for money I spent on my XE
