It's a quick one!

Was good to meet you at Brunters (I was in the black 350z!)

I'm glad I had the head start I did coming on to the back straight otherwise you would have dusted me completely

Oh nice one mate didn't know you was on here.

Was a cracking day, only went last minute as I was offered a space, the corsas not made for straights quite asians as that 1, 130mph lol.

For everyone wondering what I'm on about the corsa was out at a Asda charity day at Buntingthorpe on sat, public pay £5 to go in a car around a track they set up. Was a really good day, pics to follow.

Its been a while people, but im now getting ready for the last 2 rounds of time attack this year which is next weekend at Snetterton.

As i struggled in the wet at Brands i made sure ive got better tires for the wet this time so bought these, Toyo R1r.

I then had these fitted to my TH2's

Ive also had to fit another tow strap to the rear of the car for Time Attack regs

And then the rest has just been general maintaintence on the car ready for the track, fresh oil and filter once again, spanner check and so on

The tickets and paddock passes are now here, cant wait for it now

Looks great as always Neil! Question about your brake discs.. You have the grooves going to opposite way to the way I've fitted mine. I'm still undecided on which is best as different people have different views. What made you decide to fit them that way round?

I second that, the idea is that the groove 'scrapes' the pad for a constant fresh surface and then it is forced out the groove by centrifugal force so they don't clog up

Looking good mate!

I thought it depends on what way the cooling veins inside the disks are going, to ensure air can cool them, on some disks it dosent matter what way they go, dosent make a difference. Just check which way the veins inside go....

Yea the veins are straight on the discs so it makes no odds.

I always see it as your cutting the crap from the inside of the disc to the outside out the way.

Had a good day yesterday, the straights are a little bit long for the little corsa but tried my best.

Finished 3rd over all in the final behind a 270bhp dc5 and a 340bhp m3. Happy with that .

Back today for the next round on the shorter 200 track.

Well sunday was an interesting day to say the least, first to sessions were dry but then the heavens opened and it poured down. I went out on the Rr1's for the very first time and they felt really good, got some good laps and qualified 3rd in my class. Unfortunatly towards the end of the session when changing up from 2nd to 3rd the gear box gave way. Gutted i didnt get to run in sundays final but had a cracking weekend nevertheless.

A load of pics and go-pro vids coming soon
