Just curious, can this game only be played in widescreen? What's it like for you PC players? I hooked my xbox up to a PC screen last night and it wouldn't go fullscreen, only the daft letterbox view.

Are you using a widescreen monitor tho or a regular one? If you're using a regular one, I assume that means you've got a black band along the bottom and top to make it widesreen? I can't actually see an option to make it not widescreen.

I know it's fine on TV's, that's how I usually play. I'm asking the question to people who use PC screens.

Brett - Have you changed the Xbox settings to 4:3? I don't think there are in-game options to adjust this though, so you could be stuffed if BF3 is letter-boxing when you have the Xbox set to 4:3.

I just picked the resolution to suit it in the menu Dom? I played COD and that came through ok straight off with no adjustments. It's not a massive deal, was just wondering.

Can any console players confirm they can get 3rd person on vehicles? I've looked at what I have to press in the controls menu and tried every other button when in a jet and it doesn't do it?

On PS3 in normal core you click in R3 (the right joystick) and you can toggle between 1st and 3rd person views.
You can't have 3rd person view on hardcore mode.

i have unlocked that USAS shotgun with frag rounds and its nothing like the vid you posted danny b his video makes it look well powerful, its better with a normal shell
