There should be a minimum and maximum Mark on the expansion tank. iirc, it's half way up...

I treated my Mondy to an oil change yesterday

Got a leaking radiator so I have to check coolant levels often anyway.

I know I could get a new radiator fitted but I'm putting some money aside to buy a new car so I don't want to spend money on a car that's worth as much as a packet of crisps.

A good tip that was in PPC mag was to take off the small overflow hose from the header tank (The one that comes from the rad) put that into a bucket and then fill the header tank as normal until the new coolant comes through, or until you run out/happy there is enough in.

good idea. mine has mostly water in it nowadays
