more bad news first the cams were to big and wouldnt turn round in the head so the head came off againto be modified so they will turn then on the rollers she started leaking oil from the oil pump so the oil pump was removed again clean the faces up and fit a new gasket with some silicone then back to the rollers for running in all the running in went fine all the mapping went fine then on one off the power runs a lifter jacked up and bent a valve so today me and phill ripped the head off so it is ready for a new valve and 16 brand new lifters from auto vaux and this time we have fitted arp head studs just incase the head has to cum off again lets hope it dont

what happens when hydraulics are revved to 8k, then when fit double springs and larger cams the weak lifters are wormed out, and unfortunately this time its bent one valve.

What is going to prevent it from bending a valve again....reduce the rev limit?
Time to go to solids if the hydraulics are not coping.
