Anyone watch the NFL?

I'm a Bengals fan, not done too bad this year so far, been within 3 points in most games, but losing a few

Are they any more brutal than the ones that rugby player's take? without padding and helmet's, They couldn't wear more protective gear without taking to the field with fucking riot shields

granted there are some hard hits in there

but not as hard as american football

I didn't realise you could tackle off the ball in American Football, thought you could only block?

Mark shut the fuck up your talking nonesense now saying the hit's in the video Mad Moe posted aren't as hard, they most definitely are, and i bet they hurt x10 as much becausetheir not dressed up like a starship trooper!

In fairness, you can't just take out anyone, has to be reasonably close to the ball and it is classed as a block.

I'd agree that some of the NFL tackles look harder but wouldn't you expect that with all the padding the wear? it would be interesting to see what an NFL player would make of getting hit like that without all the pads.
