That 28th January isn't an official release date. If there was an official date we would know about it.
I guarantee that it won't be released on the 28th January!

for those of you who doesnt know what 'going gold' means its when the developers put a 'this is finished' stamp on the software and ship it out to get printed up etc ready for release, after software has gone gold there are no more changes and this is the final version that will be on shelves
i wouldnt expext more than 30 days from goin gold to release but thats only in my opinion

Your right it is
IIRC its only the 'premium' cars that will have modelled interiors. Also the premium cars also have more damage than the non premium cars.
My info is a bit sketchy as I can't remember too much, Chris should be able to shead more light
Edit: Theres about 250 premium cars. And a total of more than 1000 cars in the game.

standard cars have the same damage as premium cars when it comes to mechanical damage etc (brocken gearbox lets say) but the standard cars dont have the fancy doors opening or bumpers falling off i dont think..
also whats interesting in the TG article is that he says he had a crash and unidentified bits of cars were flying in the air.. no video to date hs shown this so im thinking of an updated damage model to what we have seen.
all cars come with fuel usage, tire wear etc etc.
