Did you go through your insurance or only his Jambo?

You may or may not get caught.

You should technically declare.

What's the difference in price with and without?

costs less to drive without insurance, a license, tax or anything these days.

the amount of times i watch road wars and the pull over someone banned 3 times already (wtf) then they have no documents, and they get points on a license they don't have (wtf), a measly fine (wtf) they probably never pay or pay £5 a month (again wtf)

they also take these people to the police station and talk them to like they are mates (wtf)

its madness

none of the systems here work, same with benefits system, no such thing as a criminal these days

Jamborino mine has gone up from £700 to £975 this year for no reason whatsoever. I'm 28 with 7 years NCD, no points and one theft of vehicle claim 4 years ago. I only drive a 1.9 (150) Sporthatch SRI Astra FFS!!

Again weirdly it's cheaper to put my bird on who's younger (25), less driving experience and has a non fault claim.

Insurance wrecks my head.

It's the L postcode which makes it expensive. Insurance is a slag.

Is that not what you do??

It was a non fault claim and they paid out so no Ncb lost

Naa, if possible go solely through theirs, then you genuinely haven't made a claim.

I even shopped around but everyone was around the same price. It's as if they've all got together and decided we'll collectively raise the price.

When I got my Scirocco Jambo I paid £800 for the insurance which I didn't think was bad considering I was 22 and the value of it. Renewal came through and the company who previously insured it refused to cover me although I had gained an extra year no claims bonus. I tried so many others who wanted between £1300 and £3500!! I gave a company called Keith Michaels a call and it was the easiest and best company I have ever had a quote off. They only needed the basic information not all the other bullshit insures make you spend 45 mins on the phone for. Also the price was good IMO. £730 including the exhaust, remap, filter and it won't go up if changing wheels or suspension etc... That includes me having a non fault accident also and the guy on the phone said 'unlike other insurers we don't charge you for some thing that is not your fault'. Maybe worth a try and see if they are any good for you?
