I think the fan switch in mine is from a Corsa Sport so it'll come on at whatever temperature the Sports do. I'll probs go to Vaux and get the right one though before I put anti-freeze in.

Still got a few teething problems to sort too, theres a weird hissing noise in the bay sounds like its coming from the throttle body area, sounds like an air leak or something so that needs traced and sorted, and another fault is starting up from cold it just dies out, but its ok from warm? So got a few little problems to sort but its nearly there

Can't wait to drive it now

could be the throttle body or around the area if you have a power cap could be an air leak there, i know i had that problem of this noise on a x14xe and it was the inlet manifold gasket there was air leaking from it

It does work , and the back box wouldn't have been my choice but its what was on the donor Corsa, I will more than like change it for a outward rolled single pipe

Yeh I know about the back bumper Dan, the previous owner didn't seemed to know what 'back to black' was, he got a tin of matt black spray and sprayed them instead without any prep so most of it has flaked off, need to try and get the rest off somehow or else paint it like you said. You should off seen the car when I got it covered in black over spray

Cheers, yea its not too bad but I think a single pipe will look better? A bit less 'look at me'. Its not high up on my to do list so I might end up keeping it.

I'm hoping to have an MOT booked in a week or two , see what it fails on and work my way through the list, hopefully not much

Cheers
