Is that whirring noise the fuel pump??? Is it running on Gregs ecu?

yep thats the fuel pumps, its on gregs ecu atm as that has a 8300limater but im going to change back to my ecu tomorow as that has a 4000 limater

yep idols a bit high but thats only a screw and i riped the fans electrical conectors of when fitting so got to put some new ones on , no never got gregs msg, hes useless at txts, have justs txt him now and he prob wont reply till next week

and it works again , loaded my map onto my mates ecu pluged in and still didnt work so next job was crank sensor, had a look at the one on the car and it wasent sitting flat to the block with the o ring on it, took crank sensor off and swaped it for a working one, didnt put o ring on this time, then it fired up straight away

Yes, it's all adjustable. Also firmer than bushes, very nice.

this is what jonlem said when i asked whats the advantages of them

The lack of bushes will tighten the feel up and ofcourse make it slightly more stiff on the road, however with any powerful engine the soon as your on the throttle the wheels move in the arch and no bush can stop that which is why rose jointing things is a must, same reason you fit the suspension top mounts as they are solid and prevent movement. Its a trade off between being slightly more aggressive but far more grip and control, you will not find any rally or race car that runs bushes for that exact reason, everything on my Peugeot is rose jointed for a very good reason and thats so when you try and put 500hp through the wheels everything stays where you set it.

I believe Specky dropped his 60ft times with the kit fitted, I can't say I'm suprised as the wheels did look like they were trying to escape out of the front of the car when he launched that thing, same as 90% of cars do that you watch at the pod.

From a track point of view the same applies that you don't want anything moving but these also help with being able to dial in a lot of castor helping with turn in , you can also dial in a lot of camber if required, lots more in both cases than you ever could with just top mounts.

let me know if they clear the gearbox ok as my tie bars sit quite close to it. they have never hit, but i always wondered looking at them a few years ago wether they may catch as with the spacers fitted, the tie bar sites lower on the bottom arm like what you will have it at now, same as mine etc.

just spoke to him nic and yes they do clear the f28, the ones in the pic have been fitted on a car and had no problems, they took a bit longer than expected to be designed/made to be able to fit without hitting the f28
