Such an awsome build and the attention to detail is amazing, well done so far.

are you using the standard LET oil sandwich plate? if so what size fittings have you had to use to plumb in that oil cooler?

bought some more p clips today for the pull cable and the hose

cable all cliped up

and the hose

then came to blead the brakes up, went to open the back drivers blead nipple and there were no threads on it left

so went and bought this to fix it

fitted that but we couldent get the blead nipple to seal properly so i ended up ordering a new caliper which will be here in the morning , bit annoyed as to get the calipers refurbed cost me £160 ish and the new caliper is only £40

New caliper arrived yesterday

Fitted

Bleed the brakes up

And painted the caliper

That's brakes all sorted now

Today I took the seats out and cleaned I side as that's all that needs doing inside

Also fitted some new wing bolts

the the stuff ill be running it on

then was the moment to turn it over , took the plugs out , filled the filter and put some oil in the relief valve and got oil pressure straight away

stuck £50 worth of petrol the other day and turned the pumps on to find a few leaks, niped them up and turned the pressure up to 70 psi to find any leaks , found one coming out of the swirl pot where the weld was, must of been a air bubble in the weld so had to take that out of the car was fun

also the fittings in the end of the rail were leaking so took that to get welded, got them back today but for some reason the welder took the fittings out and wellded them in the wrong way so had to chop them out and luckley i had 2 spare so took them some where else and got them done

also changed round the tank breather as the one way valve had a slight leak so inside was smelling of petrol, new fittings

and all back together

paper is under fittings as was looking for any leaks

left the pumps on for 10 mins and had no leaks, pumps are still quite loud tho, had a little leak from turbo water return so had to nip that up, just going to make sure i have no more leaks now , car is also now booked in for loom and mapping
