what a good day at pod yesterday , got there and track didn't open till 1 pm but when it did it was well prepped , first run , 10.5, second run it didn't go into 2nd gear as the new cables needed adjusting , big thanks to Specky Conversions for coming over and jumping right in to help sort it , next run, 10.4 then 10.3 then 10.3 then 10.2, we then decided to put some more boost into 2nd and 3rd and 4th but when we went to do that run a car had flipped over and as it was 4.30 they decided to close the track, so had to leave with the new pb of 10.2 not the 9 i wanted but still a pb and the car is running fine , prob going to be the last time out this year as its not a cheap day , big thanks to Efi Parts for coming and tweaking it after each run , made the world of difference as it was so nice and easy to drive ,

yes and tyres , never been keen on this brand and priced some up the other month so will get some new ones over winter

nothing , parked it up in the corner and not touched it , its been nice to put it away over winter not having to do anything to it

few things been happening over the last few months, gearbox came out as i had a few threads that had gone so needed to helicoil them, new tyres fitted too

got myself a sqs gear knob for flat shifting

this now enables me to change gear super quick with no clutch without droping boost

also have a 7 inch touchscreen tablet in the car for displaying /data logging and can access the ecu to alter anything i want

and a few stickers on from the sponsors

Thanks , when the car was first done it was 926kg, but it had heavy cav turbo wheels on , 2 seats and a full exhaust so I would expect it to be low 900s now

Not been out since pv show when I had the gearbox problems again, decided after that that I wouldn't be back out till the box was sorted properly my local guy had another few goes at it but I think it's got to a point where it's getting a bit to technical for him now , so the box has been sent to someone else I know , they know these boxes very well and run 2 of them in there cars , they have striped it and found lots wrong with it , new parts were order the other day and should be here in next few weeks so I'm confident that it will be right this time

Once that's sorted I'll stick the car away till pv show next year as got a baby on way in 6 weeks and my wedding in just over 6 months so funds are a little low atm and try again then

Turbo is not for sale , selling exhaust as I don't use it on road any more so no use for it , and I'm changing manifold design slightly so sold old set up ,

Yer still around done a fair bit over winter and decided yesterday that it won't be out this year , got my wedding in 3 weeks so funds are a bit tight and don't want to rush the last few jobs so having this year out and doing a few more bits to it now ready for next year
