Not this weekend, with jay killing the diesel I'm stuck without a car till the cavs finished. We're moving next week so will only be down the road. We'll have to arrange a day to come round and get it finished

Got a little more to update everyone on ..

Bought Generations hoses and gear linkage cheers mate quality lad

So I set about swapping bits off gear linkages

Just need to paint the rusty bits, the new short shift from mtec has got nylon bushes to stiffen everything up

Got my shiny new coilovers back

And on ....
Notice no drive shaft due to the outer cv boot being slightly punctured so I replaced the boot and joint just to save hassle if the joint goes later on.

Bar the brake line the o/s is built up

Also got this that I've been searching for since god knows how long !

And some vacuum hoses

Just a quick question the leave here on my turbo no3 pipe has no where to go on the turbo as it's blanked off. eBay do I do with the hole out of the inlet manifold for it ?

Fitted my mtec f28 short shifter, big thanks to Beardy for shortening and welding the linkage his welding skills are A**

Passenger side fully built up now

New outer cv joint fitted and brake line connected up (just needs bleeding

The bay as it progresses, a lot more hoses fitted now. Just need to move the ht lead from over to under the inlet pipe

Cavalier Turbo 6 speed gear knob on. Just need a new gaitor now

Shiny

That's all for now just need my vac pipe to come a header tank and to mount my fan then I can start it properly

Thanks mark ! The end is in sight kind of

Did a bit more on bank holiday

The coolant pipe to the back of the turbo was loose as I tried fitting it when the turbo was on, turned out it was miles easier taking the turbo off

Whilst I was messing about with the turbo I saw fit to change the turbo oil feed hose

I had these from generation aswell. 3 way water pipe and my icv pipes.

and on

Hopefully going to get a custom header tank made. Can't find a bailey header tank

***So a little update 21/10/14***

Spent a lot of money on this over the past few weeks and it doesn't seem to be progressing

First off I needed to sort out the wires that had been chopped on my ECU someone at some point has chopped off the power wheel.
They are incredibly hard to get hold of.
I had a word with Beardy to see of he would know anyone and be advised me to speak to EDS directly, so I did and after some translation issues and many many emails later ...

Brand new from EDS

This is my ECU

As you can see when the wires leave the "board" they have been chopped so I will be getting the new power wheel fitted soon.

I FINALLY got hold of one of these b@&£%#€s they are impossible to obtain !

After a polish

And fitted

Ignore the extra long vac pipe

Also got a new hot start valve mine had a nipple snapped off

So this is how my day started

After a couple of hours 1:45 to be precise (had a bet with a mate)

Out with the F28

There are a few reasons for this , no 1 is that this is going

Even though the clutch is brand new I've a friend who is selling his 6 paddle clutch and lightened flywheel so I thought why not !

Just waiting on them to arrive now

Terrible photo
