Exhaust emissions.
All lights
Indicators
Horn
Handbrake
Front and rear brakes/pads
Tyres
(no spare wheel so they cant check that!)
P.S this is a back street garage, not a dealer

i know that the spare wheel is'nt part of the mot test (thats wat i was told last year when they did mine)

anti-roll bar backets....mine had cracked and therefore failed....cost me £15 for new backets and passed second time round.

Engine is standard ish. nowt that would affect MOT anyways. No change to interior.

they check the height of your headlights, they also check your washer jets, I changed mine recently and didnt put the water pumps on properly and they told me there was insufficient water on the screen.

No washer jets on bonnet. Attached to wiper.
How do I align headlights to right height?? Meaning whats the right height and how do I judge it.

My MOT guy adjusted mine during test (headlights that is)... they have this special thing they wheel infront of the car...
