Done a wee bit again tonight.

Oil dropped, boost pipes removed.

Going to collect my new manifold and exhaust on Friday I hope, then the rest of the weekend will be spent removing the engine to give it a good clean, do some painting and change a few bits im not overly happy with.

Been cleaning all the oil and grime off the engine this afternoon, would of been rude to of not tried the manifold.

BIG thanks to Ben (corsamon) for his help yesterday removing the engine and box and lifting it onto the stand with me

Started spending money on this again now after taking a couple of months away from it due to family related issues and my head not being in the right place.
Will update properly on the weekend with some pictures of some new purchases.

Some pics of the loom I had made over christmas. Bit late doing the update

Where the loom enters the bay

Plugs for injectors

Plugs for coil, air temp and TPS, made the TPS longer on purpose incase I ever change inlet plenum which should hopefully be next time the engine goes in

Closer pic of a connection, heat shrink wrapped and a protection boot.

Myself and Martin Fox (MEF Motorsport) made it.

Engine wise iv got another block with under piston squirters which will be going for machining once iv collected my Omega 87mm's off Steve Milton next weekend. Will then sort out the other bits I need, head bolts, Z-Let pump, gaskets and bearings etc soon after.

A few pictures my mate taken at Three Sisters back in Feb.

My cars NickName due to the noise.......

Reflection

The reason the engine requires a rebuild.......

Lovely deep score on cylinder number 3 which I don't think would of come out completely with an overbore and hone.
All of the cylinders had the vertical scores, casued I think by the bore washing that was taking place when I first got the car. All bearings where also scored which shows the oil had lost its properties and full ability to lubricate.
All the crap on the piston is just carbon deposits
