need access to the front of my car underneath, however my tarmac drive is on a slight incline, is this safe? also what way parking the car would stand least chance of failure ie incline front to back or back to front or side to side

will be using a trolley jack, but have access to scissor jacks too

my drive is on quite an incline, using trolly jack just wang it up, maybe pull the hand brake abit more and put in gear, i rarely chock the wheels

I would face the front down the hill so that when you jack it up it's going more or less level. Pull the handbrake tight and chock the rear wheels.

I've jacked my Corsa up when it was on an incline. I was parked across it though rather than facing down or up it as I was wanting to get under the side, not the front or the rear. Then it just levelled it out as I jacked the downhill side

not really, i fitted the coilovers so changing the abs sensor is a piece of piss, i know perfectly well how to jack a car up, its the question of safety whilst im under it whilst on an incline that was in doubt in my head
