Last night was spent at red-dot racing writting the first map for the 1.7cdti with hardware upgrades.

Most of these vans produce around 115-120 bhp and 180-190 ftlb, these would be a standard upgrade IE phase 1 tuned

Now there is a phase 2, very happy with the outcome

As you can see, its a nice ammount of power / torque for a 1.7 and was standard 80 bhp

Anyone intersted in the hardware, please PM me

Im looking for a corsa C 1.7 to try too

Nope, only at about 4k it puffs a bit.

Thing about the corsa is there 100bhp standard, so adding the hardware + map they should see over 145 !

Just need to try doing a denso ECU

Was it cheaper to do all that instead of just getting a 1.9?

Cool, that should be some healthy gains, should be pretty nippy in a corsa, good work.

Can do these as a drive in - drive out for £550 INC all GM parts for the upgrade

Or £600 inc a GM oil service

If courtenay told you who makes there hoses, intercoolers, body parts etc you would go direct

So it not rly a secret ?

But the upgrade includes

uprated intercooler
uprated air intake
airbox modified
car RR'ed to see what can be adjusted, then mapped to suit. Not a generic map for all cars.

So you've got 75% increase in power from an intercooler and a map and probably a vectra c intake pipe.

Taking the pipes out of an airbox does absolutely nothing.
