I bought this van to work on at the weekends just for something to do really. The plan is to lower the roofline so it's the height of a normal corsa.

How it looked when I got it home, 380 quid lighter.

Lowered at the front, painted, fur

Various bits off

dad starting the chopping

and how we left it last sunday, one side chopped

I've got some cali leathers to go in and these alloys

cheers, think we'll need all the luck we can get with this one
I think the pic makes the camber look worse, I don't think it's too bad really.

will do boss, it's going to be a long project though as I usually only have one day at the weekend to work on it
I'm aiming to have it on the road for PVS but it won't be anywhere near finished body work or paint wise, it'll probably just be welded back together with it's alloys on and a load of blankets in the back because it's going to be my hotel room

yup it'll be pimped out for pvs '11, but this year it'll be a bit more basic. Pretty much just stuffed full of as many cushions and sleeping bags as I can find

Yep, can't say I've spotted you, but I'll look out for you

Update wise on this, I've nearly got through the other side of the van and have started refurbing the wheels, planning to strip the paint off and polish them up but I've found some filler, so might have to just paint them again

More chopping. Bit bored of the grinder now tbh Got through 2 of the internal struts, 4 more to go. Working inside the van sucks and after getting sprayed in the face with sparks one too many times, desperate measures were undertaken:

Dad looks like a terrorist, I look like Zippy about to do some chemistry

Also done the wheels as best as I can. They were a bit scuffed anyway so I didn't spend ages getting the finish perfect, they've got a bit of a weathered look going on:

Won't be selling these in the forseeable future, they should suit it down to the ground once it's finished.
Might consider a swap for 9/10j bbs' though
