Havent been playing since the other day but was on 10-11 hours and have done a few bits at the strip, game hasn't crashed once either, maybe try installing to hdd.

Fallout 3 was jerky too, its because the game is so huge. I have F3 on PS3 and NV on 360, both do it.
Who else is playing in Hardcore Mode?

I can't work it out.
I'm trying to be an evil character but the game's saying I'm good even though I'd killed everyone I've come across so far.

depends on your view of their goals if they are good or bad, i believe them to be good.
i try befriend everyone i come across and get all the missions i can..
the powder gangers who are holding the ncr facility are bad..

For anyone who hasn't yet, get your asses down to vault 34, take some radaway and go down to the armoury. Its full of good guns, iv been using the hunting rifle for about 6 hours now there a sniper, mini gun, riot shotgun tonnes

i get most of mine from the shops, when they cant buy everything i have for sale i buy ammo from them and sell them some more crap..

Thats what I used with some rad-x gave me about 85 rad protection. Its just right from the strip.

Is anyone else getting overwhelmed by all the side quest?! I can't walk 5 yards without another quest coming up. I cn't decide what order to do them all in now as I don't want to miss anything!

I'm beginning to wonder if Hardcore Mode was such a good idea afterall!
Constantly thirsty! Food isn't too bad as theres loads of maize in the wasteland and food in buildings.
If you don't drink for 2 in game weeks I think it is you die.
Just done Cold, Cold Heart and all you get is 160XP no achievement
