Yeah the one in the picture above has ports the same shape as a XEL Head and the bodies sit at aprox a 35degree angle to the air tract is direct down onto the valve or better than a parallel manifold like on the dbilas bodies.

I cant honestly remember, that is if he still has some I can get a price, if not I could get the technical drawings for them and you could get bogg brothers or someone of the likes to make one?

I always thought the xel head was the same as the x14xe head?

no x14/16 heads are the same

XEL head is off the astra's iirc

x14xe and a x16xel are the same head

x16xe has bigger ports


my x14xe - 113bhp

4-2-1 janspeed manifold
mantzel inlet manifold
decat
2.5" scopion system
derestricted airbox + panel filter

could of done with a rasied rev limiter, then would of been about 120bhp

1.4's seen to respond better to mods than the 1.6

depends what x16xel you are taking about

early x16xel had same head as the x14xe, later are triangle. like the z16xe and z16xe

I noticed that a z16 had triangle ports. I have also seen a c16 with triangle ports....but was told it was rare?
