right fell a few days behind again so had a catch up session tonight

20/365

The not so bright idea - was meaning to try this idea later in the month but thought i would do it now as it was quick and easy.

21/365

The odd one out - could be done better with a better background and better lighting but i quite like it at the same time, may have to revisit it at some point.

22/365

The book of light - to be honest it turned out nothing like i wanted it to, flashes were too powerful for how close they were so to save it i tried to edit it into a 'high key' shot which i kind of like, but i am going to retry this at some point definatly.

Bulbs are impossible to break on a white board standing up and dropping it it still wouldnt smash so ended up using bubble wrap and a screwdriver but even still took a few attempts

they're my flash guns

Right = £30 each iirc bought 2 of them a while ago but slightly broke one of them (still works just have to have the battery bit celotaped ) so then i bought the other two in the pic.

Middle - £38
Left - £52

off camera reciever things are £12 each and the trigger is £10 (bit cheaper if you buy them with them at the same time.)

edit: if your looking for one always try and get one with ttl means it uses the camera settings and works out the power itself (the gun on the left does that as well as the normal manual settings for off camera stuff)

the other two are just manual so i have to set its power on and off camera.

The great escape - noticed the light escaping from my door when it was almost closed and quite liked the lines coming off

30/365

Light at the end of the tunnel - Could be done so much better but its the end of the month (thankfully as the motivation for this theme started going mid way through so looking forward to a new theme).
