Paid 8k for mine last may, W reg with 10k miles on it. Quick for a 1600, nice interior, rarer than a VTS and 1 insurance group lower. Looks good modded and the engines just ripe for tuning Go for one newer than a 1998 (i think) as these didnt have leather and have big black bumpstrips down the side which are bolted in. The 0-60 time is about 7.4 and top end 128mph. Fuel consump is brilliant too hardly anymore than my 1.2 8v corsa was

excellent drivers car, very good handling and pace.

However with 17`s a 70mm drop and 5k worth of ICE that one wont be

I have to say I wouldnt mind one...only thing that puts me off is...isnt peugeot 106's meant to be quick rattly and kinda fall apart? The build quality isnt meant to be the best is it?

Nice motor though wouldnt mind one with leather interior...I'd go for a black too as they seem to be quite rare around my way...seen loads of the copper red coloured ones!

vts is 14 because of the following
pugs 0-60 figures are 8.4, they were very sly with this because they tested there times with 2 passengers and a little luggage, citreon tested with just the one passenger. Hence pug managed a lower ins. group cos there figures look slower
