Smoke grey is the best, I used to have a dark red one (dont know the proper colour) and an Arden blue one, red one was well nicer, but defo smoke grey or white are the nicest.

I would get a GSi if i could find one for sale and still have the 1.6 engine still in
But if i cant find one then it will be a 1.6 sport
