One question tho. How come the handbrake light comes on, because the handbrake is on the back brakes right. And isn't it cable driven ?

ive got the same problem, but only when cornering to the right. The pads are low but still stop quite well. fluid looks alright aswell.

Baffled me too
Something to do with the sensor being somewhere.

Even if the fluid looked full i put a little bit in.

your pads may be low but will still stop you untill completely worn out, your pedal may travel a cm or so more, thats all.

The light has two uses,

1 when the handbrake is on
2. when the fluid gets low

....thus being two sensors, one in the handbrake and one in the fluid resevoir.

It will be only when cornering right as the sensor in the resevoir will be on the right.

Hope this makes sense.

I'll pop some fluid in tomorrow then and hopefully it will stop.

mine was on constantly when i first brought mine my rear brakes werent working lol

bit dangerous really

check ur rear brakes out

thats fine but i wouldn't just ignore it as the level went down for a reason. If it is a brake issue, i would have them looked at as you need these to work.

Check your brake valve compensator just picked mine up from the garage and the valve had seized.

Check your rear pistons aren't leaking

its defo fluid, mine used to do it wen the pads get low top it up

rear brake cylinders r quite common to leak, guess they the same has the piston.

but when you change the pads, won't you have too much fluid in?
