Figured I would keep you all updated...

So, Dave and I made some progress at the weekend...

Block has been steam cleaned, and the crown coolers are soldered up... just need to clean and re-attach them, and it's build time... no pictures however - lots of stress!

Also collected my parts from the powder coaters - I'll let the picture do the talking:

and - after a silly amount of man hours:

behold - some PORN

This is why my engine will out last the forged Z18XE-T's that Regal made...

they are brass hand bent crown coolers, joined with silver solder and some spangly aircraft grade stainless P clips to secure to the block... polished and ready to install

here's some shots of how they will fit...

So, the gearbox is now back together with the new Quaife Diff bearings. and I have some F20 driveshafts that we can use the inner CV's from..

Dave cracked on with the crown coolers - nearly there

Yeah still got it, been a long long road...

Yeah 311.3bhp at 147mph in 5th (F28 box) with 268 WHP and 242.6lbft torque.

Currently only making 17psi of boost, its either the cams/ cam timing, or exhaust causing a restriction...

Basically it didnt make good power on the first dyno run, due to running standard fuel pressure which was only 3 bar at the rail...

So, upgraded the fuel system:
rising rate FPR and mount:
