My mk5 definately doesn't come back on again. Goes off for the first 60 seconds and thats it.

i was in a gti and it done it... and my mk2 leon does the same?

maybe urs is just fucked.

u can disable it thru vagcom anyway

Nothing wrong with it as far as I know, unless the previous owner has been playing with the wiring

i dont know why people are commenting abut not getting into another golf / vw etc.. its nothing to do with the construction.. i very much doubt if u done the same sort of crash in a merc or even a porker etc it would have a different outcome.

in mk5 golfs it bleeeps it tities off untill you all clip your seat belt in!? how on earth did they drive all them miles with "bleep" bleep" bleep" i drove my dads down the road and it done my head in!! made me clip it in STRIGHT AWAY.

they deserverd it , they was doin 100mph plus in a vilage ! theres a time and a place for going fast , (back roads or on track) and if the dickheads wore there seatbelts then some of them mite still be here
