TBH go on Youtube or their forum at Beachbody and you'll see 1000s of vids and pics of people before they started. If they can do it and get amazing results then you'll be able to!

Drink was my biggest problem really, probably drank most nights, 4, 5 or 6 cans, then more at weekends.

In the last 3 weeks all Ive had is about 4 pints and that was whilst watching the football at the pub the other week, not had a drop at home.

i reckon on a daily basis im doing 4000+ calories a day, before i get onto the weekend, so to go with the p90x diet should see great losses in fat, coupled with coming off beer and even just some vodka and fresh orange would be a huge difference, hammered 8pints of guiness last saturday night, im sure thats not the healthiest of stuff

Out of interest, how much extra are you all spending per week on food and supplements now?

And what was your original outlay?

e.g. How much have you spent in total on this?

TBH Ive no idea about food cost as not added it up. With the amount of meet you need to buy its not cheap really. I suppose you could buy frozen chicken and such which would be a lot cheaper.

Equipment costs are fairly high for me though, mainly as I bought the bowflex weights that cost me £250. An supplements have cost me a fair amount.

With regards to meat, i find tesco 3 for £10er deal a great help, you can spend like 30 a week, and the loads of vg for a 5er and be nearly covered for everything for 2 people!

how many scoops do you lads put in your shakes?

i've just one scoop in with 250ml of water. it says that one large scoop holds 25g of protein powder.

and when do you take these? i've been taking 1 and then working out (haven't started p90x yet) and that's it.

should i take another after the exercise?
