supposed to be fast that... The guy who was selling it in that advert didn't build it though... With some standard bumpers that would look awesome.

Got my calliper carriers though today.

14 quid it cost me incl postage and packaging. Got every single bolt i need though.

And a set of front foglights that are as rare as rocking horse shit! ( abit less than that as i managed to get a set )

Next on the list is coilovers and getting anti roll bars from a gti ( none on 3cyl model as standard)

Shouldnt be too hard to install them looking at diagrams though. Just a bit of welding!

Thanks for all the kind comments guys..!!

Some more bits bought...

24mm front ARB
18mm rear ARB

droplinks removed

new ones ordered for front:

some bolts too:

There aren't any ARBs on the car and it hasnt had any from factory...

There are holes on the front of the car but after 9 years threads are really rusty so i bought a 10mm tap set and a set of M10 bolts... rear gonna be more "fun" as there are no mounting points...

One cleaned up ARB

Two droplinks

ARB fitted

Went out for a drive on B roads... Loads of traffic so couldnt test the car to the full in bends as i was just ending up on the arse of other cars... But steering feels sharper and can corner at bigger speeds!

now need to get the rear fitted which will be more hassle as there are no mounts for it on the chassi, they have to be welded on!

Also bought this:
