Get a 1.6 16v Sport and do that up, Gsi's are dated!

Buy a standad basic corsa and mod it like mad. Engine conversion etc....

First car...?
Get something like an SXi (1.2 16v) and do that up, then in a few years time get a GSi or 1.6 Sport and start again or transport the mods across.
Or u could drop a bigger engine in the SXi and not tell anyone!

I'd go for something a bit more interesting than a Corsa for a first car.

Are you limited by insurance costs, etc?

Joff, for a first car, a corsa is a great little car. Cheap, massive styling modifications, cheap to insure, run, petrol consumptions good (unless its D4).

Its a good first car, not that many to match it.
