Koni, sorry if i sound a bit thick but does that price include the supply of of a scuttle so you don't have to send yours in and you can keep it if you want to replace it at a later date.

I'd have thought he would just build up the original one thats on the car already.

AS i say, lok at it this way

£75 for scuttle +
£50-£75 for spraying n fitting
And it wont fdit right

OR

£125 (I think) from Koni to build up your original scuttle, have any stle you want (i'e around the wiper base), and it will fit perfectly.

I went for the first one, paid the price, got my money back luckily though, and had my original one built up and im 100% damn happy that i did that in the end. Looks great

good quality filler on the car shops here is 5.95 for a massive tub, and the local paint mixing place does quater of a litre of paint for 9 quid primer is 10 quid think u could charge bout 80-90 and still make a profit, or better still ulot why dont u all flat and fill ur own cost u 15 quid and get the bodyshop to paint it 4u dats wat i did for me to do my own cost me 15 quid for materials roughly and if i wanna replace later on the still on 15quid from the scrappy!!!!!!! that is still quarter of the price of koni's ones lol no dout koni's are good but id rather save me self 100 quid buy a single wiper or somat and 20 quid on materials to flat ur own scuttle

would it not be a better idea to fill it from bottom with fibrefill as much as possible then just a skim of filler over top. that should sort out ur sinking problem

shouldnt be using fller - and i thought koni was a bodyshop dude, should be using something like p40 fibreglass, as filler of that depth will just crack and sink

i made one for jill quite a while ago (as well as my own and wills, but both cars are sold) and im sure if it had sank or anything, she would have let me know.

as for the prices, thats pretty cheap, as there is a damn lot of work needed to go into fibreglassing and smoothing one

fibreglass - modded - standard
