also says that the injectors should be running at 142 bar
and its got all the tightengin torques for the pump and injectors

the 1.7 turbo intercooler with 82 bhp has 124 ib/ft at 2400 rpm

im gonna use that as a base engine, head work,deristrict pump, up boost, increase throttle and revs, bolt filter straight onto turbo bypassing 10 miles of pipe work, full zoorst, front mount the intercooler, mayb use a cally turb one or similar

This is getting good.
I think the 1.7TD will have to be on the adgnda, The 1.5TD is acceptable, but i want to go one further .

Watch out punto boy in ure pissy 140 lb/ft torque punto................. Nova 1.7 TD running 200 lb/ft torque commin ure way

oh right, yeah, i can easily. at that time i didnt realise quiote how much power it actually had
130 bhp is within reach without doing a great deal too.

had never had my car dynoed then, had it done 6 months ago and it gave me the readings you have quoted.

WTF has racing up hills got to do with anything ? Tired of all this bhp sells cars torque turns wheels quote crap.................a car could have 10,000 lbs of torque if it had no power, IT WOULDNT FUCKING MOVE.

A car can have all the torque in the world, without enough power it won't be able to use the torque at a decent rate.

POWER (bhp) determines the speed work can be done, Torque is jUt an indication of ability ...NOT FUCKING RATE.

throw £150-£200 at the GT and get 160bhp and 160+lb per torque like my old one, which also did a 1/4 mile in 15.04
