Hopefully that will knock Spains confidence going into the World Cup.

I don't think spain played that badly, usa were very organised at the back and sat behind the ball. Would have expected spain to make a breakthrough at some point, it was over when sergio ramos decided he wanted 10 minutes on the ball when it was on his goal line though

USA just got loads of people infront of the ball and blocked like crazy!

Was good to watch, felt like Spain were on them constantly in the 2nd half.

Wished they'd of gone out earlier tbh so our lot could of gone on holiday sooner!

Also, Id never realised what a greedy cunt Villa is. I mean I know forwards are notoriously greedy as thats how they score plenty of goals, but he must of had 2 or 3 chances to play the ball to an unmarked Torres and he never bothered.

Brazil were very poor just there

Kaka holding the ball at the corner flag to protect a 1 nil lead against South Africa was a bit surreal.

That's not really the area we need to improve, it's the midfield, Ramires isn't good enough, why he is in the team before Elano is beyond me.
Felipe Melo is ok against teams that don't press or tightly mark players, but with no room and less options he is unable to create openings with a good pass, just not good enough I'm afraid.

You'll obviously know better than me but from what I seen there what was lacking was urgency from middle to front. Playing against South Africa you really need to move it quickly or they just camp 10 men behind the ball and it's nigh on impossible to break down. Rangers anti-football if you will

We never replaced Ze Roberto tbh, normally we play 4-2-2-2. G Silva and Melo protecting but Ze Roberto used to push on and make the 3rd advanced midfielder, Melo can't do that, I would sooner see this line-up....

----------------------J Cesar---------------------
Maicon-------Lucio----------Juan------Gilberto
-------------------Gilberto Silva------------------
----Elano---------------------------Kaka---------
------------------------Diego----------------------
--------L Fabiano------------Pato/Robinho----

By far for me anyway. Moyes has turned him into a fantastic player, he impresses me every time I see him in the Premiership as well.

i remember going to amsterdam about 4 years ago and going to an ajax game and was gob smacked by how good he was for them and imo he isn't playing close to how good he was playing then, hopefully he can do that in the coming season, he did have an amazing last 2-3 months this season though
