me and mates have had to run in windows 98 compatibility mode, only problem weve come across but no great inconvenience

nope, need's to be done with blackra1n, and only 3g and old boot rom 3GS's can do it

I have used most JBd, at the mo jailbreakme is the best, and easiest by far. Also does all current sw versions and basebands.

hey! Im a noob with this stuff so bare with me! I want to JB my iPhone, I'm on iTunes 10 and on the spiritjb site it says i need "Any version of iTunes 9 earlier than 9.2" ...so will it not work? or how do i change my iTunes to an older version? thx

also, my phone is verson 4.0.2, what does this mean to me?
