it means if you turn your phone off or battery dies you will loose the jailbreak and have to do it again i think thats tethered

What's the latest on this then, I'm still on 4.3.3 but phones gotta go in for repair so I'm having to wipe it clean. Can 4.3.5 be jailbroken untethered yet?

Nope, gotta downgrade to 4.3.3 and then jailbreak that through http://www.jailbreakme.com I think.

Did mine last weekend and was pretty simple to be fair.

Edit: this is the guide I used, and it worked perfectly. Mine didn't go into recovery mode after the downgrade though, not sure why...

I'm just living with it tethered at the moment, I very rarely turn the phone off anyway. plus they'll jailbreak ios5 soon enough so ill go for that when its available

i got told 4.3.5 wont be untethered for a while as there working on ios5.

im on 4.3.5 tethered just now tbh ive not had an issue with it as I never turn it off anyway. its only a pain when doing stuff on cydia that requires a reboot.

I'm sure ios5 can be jailbroken but tethered now but I dont know wether to ungrade or not

Can't seem to find a decent source to jailbreak IOS5 tethered, sick of not having a jailbreak and the phone never gets turned off anyway

Any jailbroken a 4S? I been trying to do mine but it keeps saying unexpected error even though I'm doing nothing different to when I did my 4. I presumed it'd be the same
