Saturday's action day proved to me that the car is capable of being fun and can handle. James really did a good job the days up to the show getting her ready.

Now begins the countdown to the Ring and some essential maintenance needs to take place and an MOT in the next 30 days.

Stuff to do:

Replace exhaust
Sparkplugs
Gearbox oil
Possibly the cambelt
Work out why 4th gear is such a cunt or is it just my mild green fairy liquid office hands?

Stuff we want:

Uprated dampers/struts/coilovers
replace bushes
strut brace

If you find out what's causing it let me know will you please.

Dads old work astra estate won't go into 4th even after we think we've aligned it the official way.

Think it's the same problem we have, it does go into 4th (even though I said it doesn't ) just difficult, especially coming back down the box.

try some fully synthetic gearbox oil, we use it from our local gearbox rebuild place seems to prevent bulking up.
