And even still, in the example in the link I gave (which isnt actually going to happen IRL) you dont just text and its confirmed, as you can text from ANY number and its the actual code you send that will give you the confirmation.

Some places have a similar/this system in place and its the worst thing ever, anybody who uses it has it written down because its so complicated.

Always knew it was a terrible idea.
