nothing really wrong with the grey shell, just the red one is in better condition and has all the things i want like non electrics no pas no abs ect.
engine bay is in prestine condition and is in red witch i love for some reason.

grey one will be getting played about with, will be having something in the boot.

ive neva used a mig welder before as we use gas at work, and have never done any fabrication work so will be a learning curve for me to try something new instead of just bolting stuff together,

will be gettin done very slowly tho as im working on the let build

dont wory the let is my main project, will just be doing the grey one when time comes.
im waiting for my mate to hurry up n get his arse round to pick me up, less petrol if one person drives

right on with the red shell the wiring in the engine bay and dash are completely diffrent to the gsi,

it has electronic speedo and hasnt got oil pressure switch wiring.

can i just wire the oil pressure switch to a gauge?

ive sorted out the starting loom in the engine bay such as the starter motor and alternator to the grey plastic conector, but that wiring loom on th 12valve engine bay side has additiional connecter blocks them im guessing i dont need

plus inside the footwell there is 4 plugs hanging down instead of the one single plug in the gsi

put clocks out of grey one into red one then run a normal speedo cable. those clocks will also have a regular oil pressure wire, join it in etc.

ive got this plug in the engine bay witch im guessing i can just chop off as its not needed
