Thinking of doing photography at a-level and just wondered if people have got any incredible pictures, taken by themselves or someone else, just for a bit of inspiration. Put up some really breathtaking photos.

Cheers.

I've got quite a few of my own that I really like, but you'll never be happy as theres always something to improve on, or that you wished you'd done differently.

#1 needs contrast and straightening
#2 is a failed attempt at a silhouette
#3 has the dogs paw cropped/cut off

If the picture is what you want it to look like it's 100% correct.

Picture 1 looks really good imo and the majority of the trees are perfectly vertical, the river/whatever it is just runs diagonally to the right, don't see what exactly you'd straighten.

Agree with Mr John on the first one, i would maybe add a touch more contrast to try and bring out the 3 first 'backgroud' trees. How is number 2 a failed attempt at a silhouette? it looks like a silhouette to me. The dogs paw isnt really the focal point now is it? I think your being slighty a lot over critical dude

thats what I mean, my brother dragged out of his student, pizza and coke ridden bedroom to sit on a dining room chair with cream curtains as a background, a speed light behind him and the on-camera flash with a tissue covering it to diffuse it a bit

need a propper background and some propper lights....

OK, 1 is probably as straight as you would get it actually.
2, you can see the detail and colour still within the foreground, It should be completely black
3, It doesn't matter if the paw is not the focal point, its cut off end of

Anyway enough of this dudes pictures lol I'm not an expert, but if these were posted up on a photography forum, then that is the type of C+C they would get.
