Didn't know it was mapped as well ...

Torn between one of these or an A4 avant next, love the 330d but it's a pain trying to find one with reasonable mileage in the right colour and one with the msport kit.

They do seem to get quite a price tag even with high miles. A mate of mine sold his with 160k for just short of 5k and it was a year older than mine. I'm probably going to be able to sell mine for similar money when I come to sell it. £3200 mine cost.

Oh and remapped, so much difference to drive!

so mate has this mk1 escort that I've put a few photos up in the past about. its a 2.9 v6 cosworth engine, makes about 240bhp on a dta ecu. but sometimes more power is needed.









time to start supercharging.......

hopefully head down in the week when its getting mapped and get some videos up etc and pics of it finished. i think it might sound pretty mental.

messing on in some almost black and white phone thing.

sourced a gearbox, just need to go pick it up next week. hopefully this one will be crunch free and change properly.

possibly going to pvs, just need to see if i can actually afford to do the things i need to before i go. tow bar on bmw, gearbox on corsa. sadly if i do go, bumper will have scuffs on it, boot lid is rusty and knackered, wheels need painting, arch doesn't line up properly, bumper doesn't fit amazingly well, floor inside the paint has lifted off where its had a fuel leak etc etc but i guess i can't sort that in time so thats kinda how it will be.

its the local drag racing on this weekend, although for the first time its been on i don't think i will be running. i can get 3rd gear sometimes, but thats not really enough as it will just be a waste of cash. will see, probably end up having a go if its better weather on sunday.

Nic dont worry about the Corsa not being perfect. The amount of cars you see that are "mint" in photos on the Internet then see them in the flesh and they are a bit shit!

wheels swapped and headlight removed ready for some death. knocked some boost off the map in the lower gears and headed off to the air field for some abuse.

3rd gear was expected to be non functional but actually managed to granny shift it in most runs. one run i missed it completely, other time i got 5th by mistake. nice. times were crap as i had no grip. spinning through the majority of 4th sometimes lit back up in 5th. only got 12.4 but most runs were 130--131mph. decent speeds considering traction
