fleet of cars ready for the drag strip. the sierra was the fastest out of all today. beat my 12.4 with a 12.3 the bastid pmsl, although i was going 1-2-4-5 as 3rd had decided to be a twat and not engage. gearbox number 5 coming up then.

then disaster struck, well for me anyway. oil squirting all over the place.







turns out the z20let pumps must have the oil filter sitting a slightly different angle or something. as those pics are of the end nut from the sandwich plate thermostat part that had been catching on the drive shaft and cracked, hence the oil. quick bit clean up with a grinder then some tig action later and its all fixed, and an oil change done seeing as it may as well get one.





also had the pipe in place of a fog light that i use for an air feed trimmed to fit better. ignore the oil line, cleaned it up afterwards.

bloody oil i tell you. driving me mad this car with oil related things.
