What's your exact jusification for that statement? There are stacks of other cars out there that look far more "ridiculous"!!

I thought exactly the same thing about this particular colour. Then when I was invited by Ford to go to the unveiling at their Dagenham workshop in July I met Jost Capito and I said exactly the same thing to him too! The lighting in the workshop wasn't exactly the best tbf (see the pics in my cs garage) BUT the colour looks so much better in the flesh. It's shimmery and so much better than it photographs imo. Although I do think it will attract the sort of people who buy the gash orange st's. **

That comment was actually aimed at the silly low photoshop. I still think the original looks a bit crap, that is justified by the fact it is my opinion.

TBH they are the best at what they do, and it's not just Vauxhalls they deal with.

it's ok, but it looks like a mid-life crisis car.

i'd much rather have an escort cossie instead.

it does... but i'm 23... lol

i would rather have an iconic (timeless) classic 'boy racer' car than a brand new one designed to appeal to teenagers but bought by older men.

Because teenagers can't afford a new car?

no you're right, they can't...

but my point is that, personally, i would not spend £25k on a car that looks like the focus rs. i'm not a fan of the needless spoilers and vents, but that's just my opinion.

the escort cossie was that it has become a modern icon, and that's where my money would go if i was buying a ford rs. (that or the mk1 escort rs1600 )

Both. I don't GAF, a 320bhp Mk1 Focus RS wasn't much faster than our original Astra when it had a Remus.

*generic small turbo mirrors/jr comment*

I think John Thorne has his head up his arse a long way more than it needs to be, you can be good at what you do, without coming across as being a complete berk.

Also, most of the stuff he's bitching about could be applied to his Astra, and just comes across as childish, especially the first reply.
