Gears 2 MP takes fecking ages to matchmake a game GRHHHH. Its much quicker when your already in a party of 5 but still
I thought COD4 was fairly quick to get into a game IIRC?

COD5 on PC crashes me out when loading some of the maps  . Otherwise it seems an OK game, nothing special.

I played it for hours yesterday, until my mouse broke, just been and got a new one. The game is so good on PC, lots off big, full servers. Graphics are better than COD4, runs smoother and faster I think, so far I love it

You sure that wasn't more down to not enough people being online. Lots of people have bought this straight away because of the hype COD4 got so there was lots of people online instantly.
I think it's great, it connects quickly for me, I love having new maps no MP, however I think there's a couple that are far too big, you spend alot of time running around just to get killed by some camping little shit

I wouldn't complain about big maps tbh..
Cod4 was always spawn.. run.. die.. it was all too fast and no tactics..
remember battlefield 1942? that had truly massive maps with bombers, fighters, helicopters and all sorts knocking about.. that was always good

depends on what time of MP game your playing...
deathmatch, big war = no tactics, respawn every 5 seconds
search and destroy = tactical minefield, afraid to make a mistake which could be the end of you for current round. S&D FTW

I never played Gears2, The first three waves are fairly easy, then they get increasingly difficult and it takes more shots to take down a zombile. Fuck knows how the creators managed to get to level 24

Its bad how you console gamers have to search for matches, its completely different to PC users interface. We have a list of servers you just choose where you want to play, a lot of good full servers too although the master server that hosts all the online profiles is down so no one can play MP, the cod forums are going mad  I'm continuing SP while this is happening.

im currently playing sp.. but yeah console matchmaking is rubbish..
also something i dont get.. its the same game essentially.. why cant i play against someone on a ps3 or pc?
