price would depend on colour

i would charge about £50 for one to be glass beaded and coated black

either dipped or blasted

muppets rocker was coated on the inside thats what the fuss was about

powder coating is good for temperatures of upto about 110 degrees

they will degreas it and shot blast it when you give them the part.. Not that many colours in this country im afraid.. Love to get my xe done from america, they do things like chrome, marble, pearlessents, flick paint everything..

also dont get it blasted, too much risk imo

they have brung out a new sylicon bead, that when any moisture touches it like if some is left in your engine, and you fill it up with oil it disolves almost instantly... and we dont have anything like the amount of colours americans have..

my corsa one was powder coated all over and had no problems, mate had his civic one also done, no problems

it probs wouldnt even need blasting tbh, just a good D A, then tack rag, then heat to 170, powder while hot, stove to 215 for 20 check as it may have slight popping, if it has, set powder unit to re-coat and give a flash over the re-stove, all will be well, could even try a powder primer on it or even etch primer

oh and yeah there is loads of powder available, and if you want something special, try a black base then while hot put a light dusting of a colour over from about 50cm away, then laquer and stove again, awesome i promise you

depending on blast used may end up pitted, acid dipped would be better
