I personally think this has gone as far as a thread should go, maybe it should be closed pending resolution of the issues raised.

Of course he'll still pay, DSR says he legally must. My suggestion (am I repeating myself?) is that you write to him and outline the facts, ie. you're not yet taken delivery of the goods and you wish to cancel. Tell him how much to pay you and how you want paying.

You know there are people who have had refunds already? I think they wrote letters.

Best way to be covered on this short of thing is to use Credit cards if you are trading with a shop and paypal if you trading with another person I am talking from experience. Sometimes paypal sucks and credit card have some interestes on payment you send but bank transfer you are not covered at all (no proof)

For private buyers yes you are correct. Traders however are subject to legislation which means they can't just keep money and not supply a service.

If I had money outstanding from that company i'd get it sorted pretty quick. Unfortunate you will have to do the leg-work to prove you paid though!

From the way it's been portrayed in the earlier pages I don't think V-Sport is going to be around for much longer

Exactly. There's a thread topped in GC dealing with the people involved, there was no need to drag this up again.

Leave it be. It doesn't affect you.

I didn't tell you to shut the fuck up. I said be quiet.

Why bother putting a message about Dave's status? I don't see why it's so important for you to keep topping this, even when you're not involved. I doubt Ian put the message there because you said so.

Matters not anyway, I'm not going to be the one that keeps bumping this.
