Did they say what type of paint they used?

I dont know the names but I was talking to a guy about a respray for mine an he sed using something like a red based coat first then laquer after instead of a white based paint and adding red something which is what vaux do which leads to fading....

I wanted solid colour. Not a fan of base and clear.. You can use a UV protection clear that helps keep the red pigment, its more durable too but it never looks quite as good

So would you advice agaisnt getting a respray using a red base coat followed by clear or does it still look decent?

Need decent piks of urs when its all finished too

if you want it to be low maintainence then clear coat is the way forward I just like the way solid looks

Forgot to take more photos! Bonnet and mirrors are on, along with real lights, door rubbers etc.. My mate is painting the front bumper and arches tomorrow

Yeah going to combe! Just got the car home.. I'm shattered, front bumper isnt even dry or fitted properly going to be knackered tomorrow morning.

Lol yeah cheers mate Doesnt fit right on the driver side (where it was cracked) so I'm guessing thats why it cracked

Yeah, didnt get the time to do it.. Lots of prep work on the ABS texture to get it smooth so will do it soon when ive got the time took long enough just to do the arches!
