i've got a quick 1.6 16v Corsa in my class and the driver is good but the times just aren't quite there... we put it down to the cars weight compared to the others in the class.

We run different rules in Scotland, A2 is a modified, road (list 1b) tyres class 1400-1800cc these days with pretty much anything goes.

really, thats interesting. yeah i think i'll give it a bash then once i can afford another runabout the corsa will be developed into a rally car anyway so anything i do to this is not going to be expensive, just make it drivable and get a bit of seat time before rallying, then the proper damping, braking, engine developments will happen, just want to get out there really. so what do you compete in?

I have a slightly modified S1 106 Rallye with a 1598cc 16v fitted.
Its almost ready to break cover but i've still a few small jobs to do on it.

RE: "sponsorship required" in your sig.

Your best bet is to have sponsors buy you tyres or pay your entry fees, any money given to you personally is taxable.

Good luck with your car & the 09 season.
