Also talking with people this is some of the reason why alot of old teams do not come back, an every series its new faces (with the odd few).
Also said in the begining they had real experts who really where the best in there field but towards the end it was anyone they could find and most of the time is was a member of the engineering team.
When are show go's out the Expert they go is a top bloke called "H" who works on engineering team..........

Real life isn't as interesting as TV though, this is why I don't have a TV, I don't have anything to compete with.

Talking to old show members who are now on the engineering team (like H and Andy "Proper job" Barns) in the begining it was REAL.

Of course, but turning scrap in to working vehicles is essentially difficult, hence the lack of people who are able to do it genuinely.
You probably lost the game by arguing, not by any engineering or competitive measure. It's a complete shame, but it doesn't really come as a surprise.

Funny thing all the other machines failed on the day and had problems, ares was perfect and dident need anything at all. An a testiment to are jeep, it was a horse road show and the car park was a field of 15" mud at the end of the weekend and we spend 4 hours pulling people out with are golf jeep with any problems or it missing a beat.

Really sorry to hear that mate, the producers of the show should be ashamed of themselves as they are completly wasting peoples time. also most of the people on the show seem to be nice guys so im not suprised they dont come back after being treated in such a radiculous way. Im pretty sure most of them including beardy wouldnt have botherd to get involved if they knew all this before hand, and im pretty sure the scrapeap team know this too hence them not telling you before hand how things are run.
